Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Capflair (“we”, “us”) for using the Capflair website, caption editor and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they accept these terms for you.

Sign in with Google or with an email and password. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
One person per account. Do not create several free accounts to get around plan limits.

Capflair turns speech and song in your videos into timed captions, lets you edit and style them, and exports captioned videos and subtitle files.
Transcription is done by automated speech-recognition providers. Accuracy varies with audio quality, accents, music, slang and background noise. Always review captions before you publish.
Features, caption styles and limits may change as we improve the Service. We will not remove something you have paid for during a period you have paid for.

The free plan includes 2 minutes of speech transcription and 2 minutes of song-lyrics transcription per calendar month (Pakistan time), plus a monthly allowance of AI features such as hooks and translation. Unused minutes do not carry over.
Videos exported on the free plan carry a small Capflair watermark. Please do not remove or obscure it.
We may change free-plan allowances; the current allowance is always shown on the Pricing page and in your account menu.

Paid plans and passes are listed on the Pricing page in Pakistani rupees (PKR). Taxes are added where required.
Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never store your full card or wallet details.
One-time passes are not refundable once you have exported a video with them. Monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
If you were charged by mistake, or a paid export failed because of a fault on our side, contact us within 14 days and we will refund or credit you.

You keep ownership of the videos, audio and text you use with Capflair, and of the captions and videos you export.
You give us a limited permission to process your content only to provide the Service: extracting and sending audio to our transcription providers, converting scripts, and rendering captions. Your video file itself stays in your browser.
We do not use your content to train our own models, and we do not sell it.
You must have the right to use everything you upload, including music, footage and voices of other people.

Do not use Capflair for unlawful content, content that infringes others’ rights, sexual content involving minors, harassment, hate speech, or impersonation.
Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, call its APIs outside the app, or bypass sign-in, plan limits or the watermark.
Do not resell or share access to your account.

The Capflair software, website, brand and caption-style designs belong to us.
You may use our caption styles in the videos you export, including for commercial work. You may not copy the styles or the software to build a competing product.

Capflair relies on other providers: Google (sign-in), Supabase (accounts), Vercel (hosting), Deepgram and ElevenLabs (transcription) and OpenAI (translation and hooks). Their own terms apply to their parts of the service. See our Privacy Policy for what each receives.

We work to keep Capflair running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
The Service is provided “as is”, as far as the law allows.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost followers or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or PKR 5,000.
You are responsible for claims that arise from content you upload or publish, and you agree to cover our reasonable costs if such a claim is made against us.

You can stop using Capflair and ask us to delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable we will warn you first.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan.
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; for important changes we will also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
