Give each caption word its own design and position
Generate word-timed captions, then control individual words. Fix spelling, change a font or colour, move a word on the video, resize it or tilt it. Timing edits remain available on the timeline.
Free plan: 2 minutes of transcription a month, watermarked exports, all styles.
Edit sample text and scrub its word highlights. This preview does not transcribe audio.Design word by word in three steps
- STEP 1
Generate a timed transcript
Upload the clip, choose the output script and correct the words. Start with a caption style that suits the passage.
- STEP 2
Select a word
Click a word on the video for placement controls, or open its design controls from the transcript.
- STEP 3
Move, style and review
Drag to move, use the corner handle to resize and the top knob to tilt. Replay the line and export when the result reads clearly.
Move a word on the video
The preview lets you select a single word and change its placement. Drag the selected word to move it, use the corner handle to adjust size, and the top knob to tilt it. Reset word removes its individual placement adjustment when you want to return to the style’s arrangement.
These controls change where the word is drawn; timing is a separate edit. A word can stay at the same point in the audio while moving to a different place in the frame. Check the whole line after a large move so the phrase still reads in the intended order.
A font, colour or design for one word
Use the word’s design controls to choose a font or borrow another style’s lettering. A key word can be larger or warmer in colour while the supporting words remain quiet. The same shared scene applies those choices to the editor preview and video export.
You can select several transcript words with Shift or Ctrl/Cmd when a change should apply to a group. Keep emphasis deliberate. If every word gets its own size, colour and tilt, the viewer may spend more time decoding the layout than understanding the sentence.
Timing and motion are separate choices
Drag the timing blocks on the timeline to adjust a word’s start or end. Listen while checking the highlights. Retiming a word is useful when transcription caught the text but placed the highlight a little early, or when a sung word stretches beyond its first consonant.
Animation controls add movement to caption styles. Try the motion on a complete phrase and check how it enters and leaves. A punchy reveal can support a hook; a quiet explanation may need less movement. Undo and redo help you compare edits without rebuilding the transcript.
Check readability before exporting
Urdu letters need space for dots and joined shapes, and an English word inside an Urdu line needs a clear visual order. A tilted word should still be legible on a phone. Keep important text away from the edge and inspect it against both bright and dark frames.
The interactive style sample on this page lets you edit text and scrub sample highlights. It demonstrates the caption engine with assigned example times; it does not perform transcription or expose the video’s placement handles. Open your own clip in the editor for the full move, resize and tilt workflow.
Export the captioned video to retain per-word lettering and placement. Download SRT for text and cue timing; it does not preserve fonts, colour, tilt or animation. Review the downloaded video at normal speed before sharing it.
Limits, stated plainly
- Large word moves can make a sentence harder to follow; check the whole phrase.
- Automatic timing still needs review on difficult audio.
- SRT omits per-word styling and placement.
- The free plan includes 2 minutes of transcription a month, all caption styles and watermarked video exports. Online checkout is opening soon; ask support about a manual upgrade.
Questions
Can I move a single word instead of the whole caption?
Yes. Click a word on the preview video and use its move, resize and tilt handles.
How do I undo one word’s position?
Use Reset word to remove that word’s placement adjustment.
Can several words share a font or colour change?
Yes. Select the words in the transcript with Shift or Ctrl/Cmd, then apply the change.
Do word edits appear in the export?
The video export uses the same caption scene. SRT contains cue text and times, without the visual edits.
